From her etsy profile:

"I live on the island of Hawaii on 24 arces of green pasture. I love the outdoors and fresh air. I love crafts, reading, and spending time with my family. I love being a stay at home mom to my 2 beautiful children.

Slender handled bag- perfect to use as a purse!
Our second child was adopted and I wanted to help out with adoption expenses by making hand made things to sell. This allows me to actively participate in bringing our child into our family. Some of the profits made here go towards paying off our adoption. We feel so blessed."

Eco friendly and in style!

From her etsy profile:

“The beautiful, secluded mountains of Kau on the Big Island of Hawaii are my home. Writing about the mystical spirit of Hawaii and crafting Menehune dolls are my passions. The timeless wisdom of Hawaiian culture inspires me. Living in Hawaii along with intensive studies and research has given me some knowledge to integrate Hawaiian traditions and symbolism into my art and writings, and further increased my deep love and respect for all that is Hawaii.

Honoring magical Hawaii and spreading its magnificent Aloha spirit throughout the world has become my life’s purpose and led me to many wonderful things including the creation of Magical Hawaiian Menehunes.”

Meet Our Members: menehunebabies

menehunebabies:

Welcome to the enchanting world of Magical Hawaiian Menehune Babies! Hawaiian Menehunes are dolls with a soul carrying the spiritual power of Hawaii. In Hawaii the Menehunes are called “The Little People of the Secret Power”. They are the legendary, original inhabitants of the islands. Hawaiian Menehunes are one of a kind 3.5”miniature collectible dolls who were individually handcrafted on the Big Island of Hawaii with the greatest love and respect for all that is Hawaii. The bodies are made out of stretch cotton and stuffed with high quality poly fill. The eyes and mouth are intricately embroidered onto the face. Hawaiian Menehunes are unique art dolls for display rather than a child’s toy. Each Menehune has a story to tell and conveys a personal, inspiring message for guidance and protection. Their detailed personalities and accessories reflect the wisdom of Hawaiian culture and spirituality. All dolls come with a booklet of their special story and a certificate of authenticity. Magical Menehunes are Guardian Angels and Good Luck Charms. The Babies are enchanting, loveable little creatures. If you hanai (adopt) them, love them and take care of them, their unconditional Aloha (love) will guide, protect and inspire you on your life’s journey.
