A truly eco-friendly jewelry artist, Lisa uses vintage, recycled, and fair trade materials to produce her delicate designs.

Origami bird pendant in turquoise blue and brown.

From her etsy profile:

"Senba Designs is an origami jewelry and paper goods company based in Chapel Hill, NC, but draws its roots from owner Lisa Hosokawa Garber's hometown of Hiroshima, Japan. Senba (literally, "a thousand wings") refers to senbazuru, the thousand origami cranes famously folded by atomic bomb victim Sadako Sasaki with a prayer for the end of suffering. Senba Designs believes no one should suffer for someone else's beauty or gain."

Karla's clever reusable gift bags are sure to make you smile!  In addition to her handmade bags, she also sews bean bags, purses, and aprons.

Reusable gift bag:  "It's Noon Somewhere"
From her etsy profile:

"All of the items you see are handmade by me in my home in Honolulu, Hawaii. I do my own drawings, graphic art, design, printing, and sewing. This may be a one-woman shop, but all of my inspiration comes from my family. Most of the items were made with someone in mind. And if you're lucky, you may get a hand written thank you card from one on my three children."

If you're a fan of comic books, video games, and other geekery, Stacy's shop is for you!  Custom work is her forte- whether it's shoes, purses, or other accessories, you'll find it here.

X-Men wedge heels!

From her etsy profile:
12 x 12 painting of The Joker
"My husband and I enjoy painting together as a pasttime. We like comic book characters, video game characters, and anime best. We also do scenery or other projects, if asked. We also like to construct other items (like the Mario NES question mark boxes that we made for a friend or our son's dresser that we painted together).

I don't remember not painting, or at least doing some kind of art. My grandparents owned a small craft shop on the local waterfront for years before they got too sick to run it any more...I remember being a little girl and sitting in on tole painting, stained glass workshops, watercolor lessons, china painting, beading, jewelry making, you name it!"

Can you believe this is actually a handpainted dresser?
